Wind dead offshore. Deceptively calm and warm in the lee of the bank and the clubhouse. Difficult to sail away, but once out of the wind shadow well powered on 6.7m and perfect for gybing on the flat water. Made some nice planing gybes.

Later wind increased and 6.7 was very well powered even with more downhaul. Gusty close to the banks but good clean blast coming down the bay. Some manic overpowered gybes and a few wipe-outs.

Hard to get back in through the gusts and wind shadow but a superb afternoon's sailing.
